Class I and II genome composition

Our Discoveries

We evaluated 67 plant genomes, recovering a total of 49,802,023 TEs records, representing a total of 48,380,889,685 bp (~48.15%) of the total genomic space. This information is distributed in ~57.36% (28,565,034) organized into Class, Order and Superfamily and ~42.64% (21,236,989) that could not be labeled to any type of known TE.
